New Zealand Olympic Committee - Earn the Fern

Challenge:
The Silver Fern represents sporting greatness. It has a rich history, being present on the New Zealand uniform from the very first Olympic Games in 1920. But that history isn't very well known, so the Fern risked becoming just another sporting logo in a sea of other sporting logos.

Idea:
To celebrate the Fern in the present, we went to its past. Turns out there's a storage locker in Auckland full of incredible archival photos, gear, notes, and other artifacts from New Zealand's Olympic/Comm Games history that hasn't seen the light of day in years. We trawled through it and worked with Assembly to create an animation that brings the pride of the Fern to life. Now our history is back - NZOC has even reproduced that original "NZ" Fern logo we found, as an official tee.
